Tanks for corrosive media
Application field and chemical resistance
Polypropylene is resistant to most of the corrosive media, which allows its use for manufacturing tanks for storage of:
Sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, sodium hypochlorite, caustic soda, coagulants, all alkali and acid solutions, other corrosive media.
Besides, the polypropylene tanks can be used:
- As cabinets for chemical agents store;
- As wall and floor coating in chemical laboratories;
- As cases for electrolytic tanks (for sodium hypochlorite preparation);
- For preparation and storage of mineral fertilizers;
- For preparation and storage of medicaments;
- For fabrication and storage of cleaning agents;
- For transportation of corrosive media.
Technical features
- Tank’s geometry: cylinder, rectangle, truncated cone, original forms for integrating the tank into specific facility.
- The tanks can be placed indoors and outdoors, above-ground, subsurface and partially subsurface.
- In case of necessity the tanks can be supplied with all needed piping elements: flanges, fittings, mixers, pipe bends, pumps and stop valves.
- Tanks capacity: from 0,3 to 100 cubic meters.
Supplementary options
Our technology allows the tanks to be site-assembled at active chemical plants. Our company can perform the coating of existing tanks (metal, reinforced concrete) for corrosive media storage. We also manufacture polypropylene tanks in firm metal case for corrosive media transportation.
