Water and foodstuff tanks
Application field:
The Ekoplast Stancl Ukraine Company manufactures water and foodstuff tanks. These tanks are applied for:
- Potable and process water storage;
- Provision storage (milk, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, vegetable oil, food supplements, etc.);
- Hot water storage and processing;
- Water and waste water treatment (settlings, clarifiers, flotation plants, hydro cyclones, gravity potable water filter cases);
- Compensation tanks for swimming pools;
- Waste water relift stations;
- Water cooling tower cases;
- Cesspools.
The tanks are produced according to ТУ У 25.2-32192932-002-2004 and are approved with Sanitary and Hygienic Finding of Ministry of Public Health of Ukraine №30057 dated 27 Jul 2004.
Technical features:
- Tank’s geometry: cylinder, rectangle, truncated cone, original forms for integrating the tank into specific facility. The tanks are manufactured of sheet polypropylene with sheet thickness from 2 to 80 mm. Material thickness depends on tank size and capacity, and on the specific operating conditions. This supposes the individual approach to every customer and production item.
- The tanks can be placed indoors and outdoors. Tanks placed outdoors must be discharged for winter period.
- The tanks can be installed above-ground, subsurface and partially subsurface. In case the subsoil water’s exit is possible, the measures against surfacing of the tank should be assumed, namely the concreting of tank’s walls and bottom, or the tank should be installed to the concrete cylinders.
- The tank’s default configuration includes the service hatch (diameter 300 to 600 mm) and inlet and outlet fittings. In case of necessity the tanks can be supplied with all needed piping elements: flanges, plastic and metal threads, mixers, faucets, pumps, floats, level sensors, handles, scales, treads, etc. Supplementary piping doesn’t increase the tank price sufficiently.
- Tanks capacity: from 300 to 100000 liters.
- Tanks color: white, grey, black, blue.
Supplementary options
The tanks can be site-assembled, which allows installing tanks with large capacity in a room with standard doorway. Several tanks can be united in an integrated system; the tanks can be supplied with additional piping elements.
Cesspools
The tanks with subsurface installation can be used for accumulation of waste water, as a cesspool. The construction of such tanks permit not to concrete its vertical walls, which simplifies building works and decreases their costs.
Hot water storage
Mechanical properties of polypropylene allow its use for storage of liquids with temperature up to +80 degrees, and under short-term temperature increase up to +95 degrees. This way, our tanks are applied to storage and processing of hot water and to processes of water cooling.
Waste water relift stations
A polypropylene tank supplied with pump equipment allows accumulation of waste water and pumping it out to sewerage system in case the straight discharge of waste water is impossible or complicated. Our company produces the “turnkey” relift stations with pump, leakproof hatch, float, overflow pipe and other needed piping elements.
Coating and dampproofing
Polypropylene can be used for dampproofing of the existing tanks (air tanks, degritters, conical settlings, etc). This process is conducted two ways: the tanks of reinforced concrete are dampproofed with polypropylene sheets fixed to the tank with concrete inserts; dampproofing of metal tanks is held by production and installation of polypropylene liner sized accordingly to the size of existing tank.
